IRIS LEE

Iris F. Lee, age 75, of Salina, died Sun., June 23, 2019, at Mt. Joseph Senior Village, Concordia, Kan.  She was born on Aug. 7, 1943, in Concordia, Kan., to Clifford & Edith (Currie) Sallman.

She graduated from Concordia High School in 1961.  Iris worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for over 20 years. She was a resident of Salina, Kan. for many years.

She married Robert E. “Bob” Lee on July 9, 1983, in Concordia, KS.

She is survived by her children, David (Candy) Lee, of Bremerton, Wash., Teresa Hohl, of Brooklyn, N.Y., Ric (Stephanie) Lee, of Duluth, Ga., Roger (Lisa) Lee, of Colleyville, Texas; grandsons, Clark and Davey; granddaughters, Rani, Reagan, Sofia and Isabel; her mother, Edith Sallman, Concordia; sisters, Phyllis Shanks, Marilyn Lowell (Rodney “RJ”), Alice Goddard, Ruth Gardner & Fran Trost (Larry), all of Concordia.

She was preceded in death by her father, her husband & a sister, Judy Valcoure.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tues., July 2, 2019, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, with Pastor Steve Gowin officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Rural Norway.  Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-7 p.m. Mon., July 1, 2019, at the funeral home.  The family suggests memorials to the American Lung Assoc. in care of the funeral home.  For online condolences, please visit www.chaputbuoy.com.
