Janice S. Broadbent, resident of Jewell, Kan., died June 27, 2019, in Beloit, Kan., at the age of 80. Born Aug. 13, 1938, to Morris Hipolite & Marjorie (Davidson) Hipolite. Retired owner of the Tasty Freeze at Jewell.
Survivors include: husband Jerry Broadbent, Jewell, Kan.; sons, Terry Lee (Brook) Broadbent, Overland Park, Kan., Jay Dee Broadbent, Billings, Mont.; grandchildren.
Services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Jewell Christian Church. Visitation on Monday, July 1, from 2-7 p.m. at Kleppinger Funeral Home, Jewell, Kan.
Memorials to Resident Care Center, Solomon Valley Transportation, Solomon Valley Hospice.
Burial at Jewell City Cemetery.
