JOYCE A. CHARBONNEAU

Joyce A. Charbonneau, age 65, formerly of Concordia, KS, died Thursday, November 1 at the Emerald Care Center - Midwest in Midwest City, OK. She was born on June 19, 1953 in Concordia to Levi L. & Dorothy E. (Hubert) Charbonneau.
Joyce graduated from Concordia High School in 1971. She worked as a cook for several nursing homes and operated her own lawn care business. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia. She was a resident of Concordia until her health required her to move closer to family in Oklahoma.
She is survived by her sisters, Kathy Patterson (Gerry), Midwest City, OK and Denise Martin (Art), Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Michael Charbonneau (Rebecca), Minneapolis and Patrick Charbonneau (Michelle), Aurora; sister in law, Linda Charbonneau, Enid, OK; uncle, Bo Hubert (Susan), Concordia; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews and a host of friends and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lawrence “Larry” Charbonneau.
The family selected cremation and a Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 9 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (Concordia) with Fr. David Metz officiating. Private family burial of the cremains will be later at St. Concordia Cemetery, Concordia. Friends may sign the register book on Thursday, November 8 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
