Ionia, KS – Keith D. Noller, 82, passed away Sunday January 13, 2019 in Beloit, Kansas at Hilltop Lodge.
Keith was born on a farm outside of Ionia, Kansas on February 17, 1938. He served in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1964. He was assigned to a GEEIA (Ground Electronics Engineering Installation Agency) working out of Cape Canaveral, Florida. His duties took him to islands in the Caribbean and to tracking stations in South America. He also worked on installation equipment for the Freedom 7 Mercury capsule which launched Alan Sheppard on the first American manned space project.
Keith was a forever farmer and after his military service he spend his life doing what he loved the most…working the land. He loved being outside and was never happier than when he was on his tractor or puttering around on the farm. He attended the Vocational Technical Center in Beloit to learn the trade of air conditioner repair.
He had a tremendous heart for people and was always glad to help a neighbor in need. He loved to tell stories and was always excited to visit family and friends.     
Keith is preceded in death by his father, mother, two sisters, and two brothers.
Keith is survived by his two nephews Larry (Andrea) Noller of Pomona, Missouri and Lynn Noller of Eaton, Colorado; two nieces Lyla (Larry) Dixon of Fort Collins, Colorado and Lynette (Butch) Havens of Greeley, Colorado.
Visitation will be held at Kleppinger Funeral Home in Jewell, Kansas on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. at Ionia Cemetery in rural Ionia, Kansas on Thursday, January 17, 2019
A celebration of life will be held at Ionia United Methodist Church in Ionia on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Jim Rice officiating.  
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, Kansas.
