Lonnie Lee Bates

Lonnie Lee Bates passed away on May 21, 2019, at the age of 79. He was the son of Alan and Eva Bates. He served in the U.S. Army and served in Germany. After coming home, he and his family moved to California.
He is survived by his wife Jenny;  step-son, Shannon and family of Covina, California, and grandson, Eric; brother, Mike (Sharon) of Concordia; sisters, Roberta Croft, Vancouver, Washington, Mary Lynn (Richard), Cuba, Kansas, and Linda Knox, Gypsum, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-sons, Steve and Curtis; daughters, Valorie and Dawna; brothers, Bill and Frank.
His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered in the ocean.
