 Robert (Bob) Elmo Bryan, 87, Basehor, KS, passed away October 11, 2018 at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, KS. He was a lifelong resident of Basehor, KS. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the VFW Hall on 155th St., in Basehor KS on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11 a.m. Robert (Bob as his friends call him) was born January 3, 1931 in Kansas City, KS, the son of Ralph E. and Myrtle (Wees) Bryan. He worked at Sealright Ice Cream Company, Kansas City, KS; Farmed and hauled grain; owned the local garage and gas station, Basehor, KS; and was the owner of Bryan Coach Sales, Basehor, KS. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served during the Korean War. He also was a licensed private pilot. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Marie Clark Bryan in 2007, also by his brother Buster Bryan in 1948, and his sister, Dorothy Clark in 1999. Survivors include; two daughters, Deborah M. Gleissner, Basehor, Diana L. Bryan-Smith, Basehor; one sister, Melba Metcalf, AZ; two grandchildren, Amanda Gleissner and Bobby Gleissner; and his beloved dog, Daisy.
