Tanner Paul Zamecnik, 24, of Salina, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019. He was born June 12, 1995, in Salina, to John and Sandra (Blochlinger) Zamecnik. He was raised in Salina and graduated from Salina South High School.
He enjoyed hunting on his family farm, fishing, and going to the lake with his family, boating and tubing. One of his favorite pastimes was playing tennis. He had a gift for working on cars. He also enjoyed spending time with his best friend, Courtney, and seeing his grandparents whenever he could. His family recently took a Caribbean Cruise where he loved getting to swim with turtles, stingrays, and having lots of laughs with family. He had a passion for children and animals, they always brought joy in his life and a smile on his face. He loved spending time with his family and was always at peace being on the family farm near Lucas, Kansas.
Survivors include his parents, John and Sandra, of Salina; brother, Trenton (Shannon), of Kansas City, Mo.; sister, Jadyn, of Salina; grandparents, Paul and Delores Blochlinger, of Concordia, and Janice Zamecnik, of Lucas; girlfriend, Courtney Yowell, of Manhattan; aunts and uncles, Joni (Randy) Regnier, of McPherson, Sherri (Steve) Biery, of Clyde, Brad (Krissy) Blochlinger, of Salina; cousins, Ryan (Kaitlin) Biery, Blake Biery (Haley), Austen Biery, Thomas Biery, all of Clyde, Ryan Regnier (Ally), of McPherson, Paige Regnier (Cameron), of Topeka, Sierra Wallace, of Fayetteville, Ark., Brooke Wallace, of Council Grove, Jarett Blochlinger and Jordan Blochlinger, Kemper, Rayden, and Easton, all of Salina.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Zamecnik Jr. and aunt Julie (Mark) Wallace.
Visitation was held Thursday, November 7, Ryan Mortuary.
A Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, November 8, at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Weber as celebrant.  Inurnment in Lucas Cemetery, Lucas, Kansas.
