TARYN L. HIGLE

Taryn Layne Higle passed away Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019, at the age of 39 years, 9 months and 24 days, at The Nicol Home in Glasco. Taryn was born mentally and physically handicapped, and spent the majority of her life in healthcare institutions, including Winfield State Hospital and Training Center of Winfield, Kansas, South Oklahoma Resource Center, Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Hilltop Lodge, Beloit Kansas, and The Nicol Home, of Glasco, Kansas.
Taryn was born on September 8, 1979, in Concordia, Kansas, to Cynthia L. Higle. She graduated high school in May of 2001, from Pauls Valley High School, Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her brother, Sheldon Hoesli, Cashion, Oklahoma; aunts, Paula (Mark) Jones, Jamestown, and Kelli Darnall, Beloit; Uncle Tony (Jerri) Higle, Glasco, and her special cousins; The Elite “8th Babies,” Erika Walker of Valley Center, Jaime Darnall of Glasco, and Laura Darnall of Salina. She is also survived by many other cousins, too numerous to mention.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Lavern Liby, and James and Phyllis Rountree; grandparents, Paul Higle and LaVerna Higle; her mother, Cynthia (Higle) Duggan; aunt, Glenda (Higle) Bernhardt; uncle, Keith Higle; and her infant brother, Samuel Paul Hoesli.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 18th, from 1-5 p.m. at the Roberts Family Funeral Home in Beloit. Visitation will continue on Friday, July 19th, from 4-6 p.m. at the Dean Funeral Home in Glasco. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Dean Funeral Home, Glasco. Committal will be in the Glasco Cemetery, next to her mother, following the service. Memorials to the Nicol Home Fence Fund.  Roberts Family Funeral Services, Beloit, is in charge of arrangements.
