“Daddy, can I get something for you?”  “Dad, are you OK?” “Dad, is it OK if I mow the lawn this afternoon?” Those were familiar words said in the Ebbesson house in Concordia by Timothy Scott Ebbesson.
Tim died Sunday, March 17, 2019 at his father's home where he lived the last three and a half years after his mother Sue died.  Tim died in his sleep after a short illness at the age of 50.
Tim was born April 20, 1968 to Oliver and Sue Ebbesson in Garden City, Kansas.  He graduated from Liberal High School in 1986 and shortly thereafter enlisted in the U.S. Army where he proudly served for nearly seventeen years.
Tim married Yvonne in McAllen, Texas.  This marriage ended in a divorce.
His tours of duty included Germany, Bosnia, Honduras and Louisiana. When the wars broke out in the middle-east, Tim worked as a civilian contractor in Afghanistan, Iraq and Dubai.
While in Dubai, Tim met the love of his life, Jashee.  They built a home in the Philippines where they resided. While living in Bacolod, Philippines, Tim and Jashee attended the Baptist Church there.
He returned to the U.S. at the time of his mother's illness, and remained after her death to look after his dad. Tim loved many things including fishing, hunting, and even golf, as he played on his high school's team for a short time. At the time of his death, he was employed at Arby's.
