Treva A. (Johnson) Jorend

Treva A. (Johnson) Jorend died peacefully at home in her sleep on April 23, 2020. She was a Mother and Grandmother and resided at Fellowship Square Independent Living in Tucson, Arizona.
Treva is survived by her daughter and granddaughter, Deanna and Natalie Richardson, who reside in Tucson, Arizona.
Treva is also survived by her brother, Gene Johnson, as well as her niece and nephew, Kim Oatney and Kevin Johnson; sister, Vicki Roberts, and nephews, Mike and Randy Roberts and niece, Debi Nuss.
Treva was born in Aurora, Kansas, on September 17, 1933, to Anna (Forsling) and Perry Johnson. She graduated from Concordia High School and was married to her high school sweetheart Max L. Clayton, with whom she had a daughter, Deanna, born on October 8, 1965.
Treva touched many during her lifetime with her kind and gentle nature. She maintained lifelong friendships that started in 7th grade in Concordia, Kansas. The friends graduated together from Concordia High School in the Class of 1951. They maintain close contact to this day, as Treva is survived by 3 of her special “round-robin” friends, Margie Johnson, Marilyn Johnston, and Jean Ann Bowman. Donna Morris and Lori Malott predeceased Treva.
Treva was preceded in death by her brothers, Clayton, Floyd, Marvin, and Leo; sister, Alma; and niece, Lynnette Hamel.
A special service will be held in July 2020 at Fellowship Square in Tucson, Arizona.
