Willadean Mae Thoman

Willadean Mae Thoman, 91,of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on April 15, 2020. She was born on May 14, 1928, in Concordia, Kansas, to Don and Oris (nee Kocher) Regnier.
Willadean was raised in Concordia where she attended Concordia High School. She was a faithful member of the Victory Hills Nazarene Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Willadean worked for Tower State Bank from 1969 until her retirement in 1997. She also sold Avon cosmetics for many years.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, putting puzzles together, going to garage sales, and collecting salt and pepper shakers, and had gathered over 900 sets in her lifetime! She was a big Kansas City Royals fan as well. Most of all, Willadean loved her family. She devoted her life to her grandchildren- they were her everything.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne E. Thoman in 1979; her parents, Don and Oris; 3 sisters: Helen Currie, Donna Poss, and Joan Rose; and her brother, Jack Regnier.
She is survived by her children: Jack (Sharon) Thoman of Manhattan, Kansas, Butch (Jenny) Thoman of Plattsburg, Missouri, Brad (Diane) Thoman of Olathe, Kansas, Steve Thoman of Kansas City, Kansas, Scott Thoman of Kansas City, Kansas, Sandra Kramer (Joe) of Pratt, Kansas, and Cheyanne Reed of Lee's Summit, Missouri; her sister, Thelma Locke of Apollo Beach, Florida; brother, Warren Regnier of Concordia, Kansas; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
