Letter to the Editor 7-31-20

To the editor:
Western Kansas has a long history of sending great statesman to Congress. Senator Jerry Moran, Senator Pat Roberts and Senator Bob Dole began their service in D.C. as the Congressman from the “Big First” Congressional District.
On August 4, we can continue that tradition by voting for Tracey Mann for Congress. Tracey is thoughtful, kind and a good man who will stand against all the craziness in Washington and fight for Kansas and our rural way of life.
While many on the coasts view us in rural Kansas as flyover country, Tracey understands the importance and values of those who choose to call rural Kansas home. Tracey grew up on the family farm in Quinter, population 1,021. He attended K-State where he studied Agricultural Economics and was elected Student Body President. Tracey and Audrey are raising their four children in Salina where he runs a small business.
Tracey is endorsed by Kansas Farm Bureau, the NRA and Kansans for Life because of his strong conservative values. Tracey has been to our community multiple times listening to our local issues and spelling out his plans for his time in Congress. I hope you will join us in supporting Tracey Mann for Congress.
