Two former Concordia High School athletes, offensive lineman Keith Christensen and fullback Mike Reeves, were named to the starting offense for the University of Kansas football team... Gary Ritter was awarded the Fidelity State Bank Scholarship to attend Cloud County Community Junior College... Bob's IGA was selling a quart jar of dill pickles for thirty-nine cents and a 60-pack of napkins for ten cents.
