Ashland’s celebrate 50th Anniversary

Gary and Kathy (Cossel) Ashland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner given by their children. They were married March 2, 1970, at the Lutheran Church in Concordia.
The high school sweethearts have spent their married life in Concordia. The couple have 6 children, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Gary worked at Cloud Ceramics for 40 years and retired in 2011. Kathy worked for the Concordia United Methodist District office for 10 years.
Their family includes their children: daughters, Jesse (Jesse) Morgan, Concordia, Stacy (Lee) Stanford, Salina, Terri Ashland, Concordia, and Indigo Ashland, Concordia; sons, Tim Ashland, Concordia and Marc (Loretta) Ashland, Concordia; grandchildren, Victoria Ashland, Jamie (Haley) Morgan, Tristin (Amanda) Morgan, Marissa Morgan, Nichole Ashland, Michael Ashland, all of Concordia, and Luke Stanford, Salina; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Jason and Scarlett Morgan, all of Concordia.
