Cloud County Extension Agriculture Agent Joe Neill announced the “Wheat in Depth” school had been scheduled for Cloud County... Rebecca Hotaling, Joyce Charbonneau and Dana Rasure won “The Voice of Democracy” awards, sponsored by VFW Post 588... Concordia law enforcement offices radio dispatchers were the hostess group for the Circuit 2 communications meeting held at the Elks Club, with a buffet style dinner and entertainment by The Great Society Singers... “The Killing of Sister George” was showing at Sigma I Theatre.

Cloud County board of commissioners reviewed revision of the new employee handbook... the Lincoln School second grade classes presented “United We Stand,” a patriotic musical directed by Joyce Hedstrom... members of Boy Scout Troop 31 worked on an American Heritage merit badge and toured sites of historical interest in the area... Dr. Dan and Cindy Myers were crowned King and Queen of the annual hospital auxiliary Mardi Gras Ball... “The Brady Bunch Movie” was showing at the Apollo Theater.

Cloud County Community College early childhood resource and referral agency held its 2010 Kids' Canvas Art Show at CCCC... recipients of the “We Remember You Foundation,” a charitable trust fund that was established in memory of Eldon Collins who was born and raised in Cloud County, were Madison Menard, Kaitlin Moore, Corey Timmons, Lacey Brownell, Briana Anderson and Stephanie Reed... wheat was selling at $4.44, corn was $3.43, and milo was $3.39 per bushel on local markets.

Izaiah Grogan, son of Jason and Kari Grogan, graduated from Marine Boot Camp and was assigned to 1st Battalion, 7th Marines at 29 Palms, Calif., as a TOW missile operator... Lori and Pat LeDuc, Jamestown, announced the engagement of their daughter, Lori LeDuc, to Trenton Weber, son of Garry and Cynthia Weber, Concordia.... wheat was selling at $4.98, corn was $3.52, and milo was $4.60 per bushel on local markets.
