Abilene tops Panthers

Abilene handed the Concordia eighth grade football team a 16-8 defeat Thursday at Harold M. Clark Stadium.
A touchdown and two-point conversion in the first quarter gave Abilene an 8-0 lead.
Joey Henderson scored a touchdown for Concordia with 3:14 remaining in the game.
Henderson ran in the two-point conversion to pull the Panthers even at 8-8.
Abilene then scored on a 55-yard run with 1:34 remaining.
The two-point conversion made it 16-8.
