Beloit tops Panthers

Scoring in each quarter, Beloit defeated the Concordia eighth grade football team 50-8 Thursday at Harold M. Clark Stadium.
Two touchdowns in the first period gave Beloit a 14-0 lead.
Beloit tacked on two touchdowns in the second stanza, and led 26-0 at halftime.
A pair of touchdowns and two-point conversions in the third quarter extended Beloit's lead to 42-0.
Concordia got a 6-yard touchdown by Dustin Sterrett in the fourth quarter. Joey Henderson ran in the two-point conversion.
Beloit added a touchdown and two-point conversion in the final period.
Henderson rushed for 74 yards for Concordia.
Sterrett had 71 yards rushing.
The Concordia seventh grade knocked off Beloit 20-6 in a 30-minute fifth quarter.
Drew Sterrett scored the first touchdown on a 2-yard run.
Carter Eakins had a 42-yard touchdown scamper for the Panthers. Sterrett ran in the two-point conversion.
Sterrett added a 4-yard scoring run.
Beloit's touchdown came on a 38-yard run.
Sterrett had nine carries for 72 yards.
Eakins carried six times for 65 yards.
