CHS JV finishes eighth

MINNEAPOLIS — The Concordia Junior High School boys' and girls' track and field teams competed in the Minneapolis Invitational on Friday.
There were no team scores available.
The Concordia eighth grade boys recorded five first-place finishes, three by Alec Francis.
Francis won the 100-meter hurdles in 15.00, the 200-yard hurdles in 29.01 and the triple jump with a leap of 36-7 ½.
Torxsten Kindel placed second in the 100 hurdles (17.70) and Bergun Kindel was fourth in the 200 hurdles (30.36).
Bergun Kindel was also sixth in the pole vault (7-0).
Stryker Hake went 17-5 to finish first in the long jump. He was sixth in the 100-meter dash (12.45).
Aceyn Cash turned in a time of 5:10 to win the 1,600-meter run. Alan Garcia was second (5:40.00).
Cash also placed second in the 800 (2:22.88) and fifth in the high jump (4-10).
Gunner Hale finished second in the shot put (36-10) and sixth in the discus (99-8).
Dakota Brockman was second in the javelin (119-2) and Kadryn McManus was fourth (113-5).
Concordia's 4x200 relay team placed third (1:58.89).
The Panthers were fourth in the 4x100 relay (50.50) and sixth in the 4x800 (4:30.61).
The Concordia seventh grade boys had Joey Henderson placed third in the high jump (4-8) and fourth in the triple jump (30-4).
Braden Primeaux finished third in the javelin (90-4).
Concordia was fourth in the 4x200 relay (2:00.23) and fifth in the 4x100 (57.39).
Mason Eickmann placed fifth in the 200-yard hurdles (35.00) and sixth in the 100-meter hurdles (19.73).
Easton Swihart finished fifth in the long jump (14-1/2) and Keegun Beims was sixth in the discus (76-8).
The Concordia eighth grade girls had Jaida Koester win the 800-meter run in 2:45.88. She was also second in the long jump (14-4) and fourth in the 1,600 (6:25).
Jaida Koch finished second in the 100 dash (13.68) and second in the 200 (30.45).
Kassidy Bowers placed third in the 200 (30.70), fourth in the 100 (13.89) and fifth in the long jump (13-8).
Bailey Buckley was fourth in the 200 dash (30.90).
Belle Chavey tied for second in the 100 hurdles (18.09) and placed third in the triple jump (28-10 ¼).
Cianna DeLeon finished second in the discus (73-1) and third in the shot put (30-0).
Sarah Blochlinger was third in the discus (72-11) and fifth in the javelin (72-9).
Shaelin Giersch placed fifth in the shot put (29-3 ½) and sixth in the discus (66-3).
Concordia was second in the 4x100 relay (57.47) and the 4x200 (2:04.88) and sixth in the 4x400 (5:06.86).
The Concordia seventh grade girls had Carlie Carlgren win the 100 hurdles in 19.08. She was also fourth in the 200 dash (30.18) and sixth in the triple jump (26-11).
Hattie Blackwood finished second in the discus (71-9 ½) and fifth in shot put (27-5).
Megan Barr placed fifth in the 3,200-meter run (14:50.41).
Concordia was third in the 4x100 relay (59.02) and fifth in the 4x200 (2:14.50).
