CHS JV places second

The Concordia High School junior varsity tennis team placed second in a quadrangular it hosted on Tuesday.
Abilene won the meet with 28 points. Concordia scored 20 and Clay Center was third with nine.
Ismael Perez finished second in number one singles for Concordia. He lost 6-4 to Travis Luthi, Abilene, and defeated Lucas Sullivan, Clay Center, 6-2.
Maximus Charbonneau played number two singles for the Panthers. He fell 6-0 to Eli Prater, Abilene, and 6-0 to Brody Rosenow, Marysville.
Tyson Roush and and Isaiah Steffen finished second in number one doubles for Concordia. They lost 6-0 to Abilene and then knocked off Marysville 6-4 and Clay Center 6-0.
Noah Thoman and Taryn Roush won all three matches to place first in number two doubles for the Panthers. They defeated Abilene 6-1, Marysville 6-4 and Clay Center, 6-0.
