CHS runners compete in Class 3A regional

GYPSUM — The Concordia High School cross country team had three girls and one boy compete in the Class 3A regional meet hosted by Southeast of Saline High School on Saturday.
In the girls' race, freshman Jordan Gilkeson placed 37th for Concordia with a time of 23:00.64.
Freshman Sera Peters ran 23:04.55 to finish 39th.
Sophomore Emma Losh placed 62nd in 25:00.00.
Hanna Burks, Beloit, was the individual champion in 19:19.55.
Concordia's Austin Kilian placed 83rd in the boys' race with a time of 21:56.68.
Luke Gleason, Southeast of Saline, won the race with a time of 16:55.75.
Southeast of Saline won the boys' team title with 49 points. Norton placed second with 81 points and Smoky Valley was third with 108.
Scott City won the girls' team title with 67 points. Clay Center was second with 72 and Thomas More-Prep-Marian was third with 93.
