CHS splits with Marysville

The Concordia High School volleyball team split a pair of North Central Kansas League matches with Marysville Tuesday night in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.
Concordia, now 18-12 overall, is tied with Marysville for first place in the league at 6-2.
The Panthers wrap up league play by hosting Chapman for a pair of matches next Tuesday.
Marysville won the first set of the first match, 25-23.
Concordia pulled even at 1-1 with a 25-23 victory in the second set.
The Panthers then took the third and deciding set, 25-20.
Chloe Conway had 13 kills, 10 digs, three blocks and four service points for Concordia.
Taegen Larsen added 10 kills and nine digs.
Kendall Reynolds finished with 73 good sets in 73 attempts with 21 assists, six kills, 11 digs and four service points.
Zoe Bechard had 17 digs and seven service points.
Shaina Wright had eight digs, three kills and nine service points with four aces.
Marysville won the second match in straight sets, 25-18, 25-18.
Reynolds had 51 good sets in 51 attempts with 12 assists, four kills and nine digs.
Wright had five kills and five digs.
Conway also had four kills.
Larsen had three kills and six digs.
Bechard had 12 digs.
Miller and Terin Rundus had six service points each.
