CHS volleyball team splits league matches with Wamego

Wrapping up North Central Kansas League play at home, the Concordia High School volleyball team split a pair of matches with Wamego Tuesday night.
Concordia, now 21-12 overall, finished 6-4 in the league.
The Panthers defeated Wamego 25-12 in the first set of the opening match.
Wamego evened the match at 1-1 with a 25-19 victory in the second set.
The Red Raiders then won the third and deciding set, 25-21.
Chloe Conway had 13 kills, three blocks and four digs for Concordia.
Terin Rundus added seven kills.
Taegen Larsen had six kills and nine digs.
Kendall Reynolds had 17 assists.
Zoe Bechard finished with 11 digs.
Concordia won the first set in the second match, 25-21.
Wamego made it 1-1 with a 25-19 win in the second set.
Concordia pulled out a 25-20 victory in the third set.
Larsen had 14 kills, six blocks and seven digs.
Conway added seven kills and five digs.
Rundus had five kills and four digs.
Reynolds had 29 assists and five blocks.
Bechard had 15 digs.
The Concordia junior varsity lost twice to Wamego, 25-20, 25-21 and 25-12, 25-21.
Wamego downed the Concordia C-team, 25-18, 25-20 and 26-24, 25-15.
Concordia will play in the Sabetha Invitational on Saturday.
