CJHS hosts league meet

The Concordia eighth grade boys and seventh grade girls placed fourth in the North Central Kansas League meet they hosted on Tuesday.
The meet was originally scheduled for May 7, but was rained out.
Concordia scored 83 points in the eighth grade boys' division.
Marysville won the meet with 135.5 points. Abilene was second with 91 and Fort Riley was third with 86.
The Concordia seventh grade girls scored 66 points.
Marysville claimed the team title with 141 points. Chapman was second with 92 and Abilene was third with 89.5
The Concordia eighth grade girls finished sixth in the meet with 60 points.
Marysville was first with 92 points. Clay Center and Chapman tied for second with 85.
Concordia was seventh in the seventh-grade boys' division with 33 points.
Clay Center won the meet with 127 points. Wamego was second with 89.5 and Fort Riley was third with 84.5.
The Concordia eighth grade boys recorded three first-place finishes in the meet.
Stryker Hake won the long jump with a best of 18-2 ¾. He was also second in the triple jump (35-61/2) and fourth in the 200 dash (25.78).
Aceyn Cash ran 5:07.39 to win the 1,600-meter run. He was fourth in the 200 (2:21.43).
Concordia finished first in the 4x100 relay (49.52) and fourth in the 4x200 (1:51.94).
Alec Francis placed second in the 75-meter hurdles (11.45), fourth in the triple jump (35-4 ½) and in the 400 dash (59.46).
Chayton Alquist-Pennell finished second in the 100 dash (12.72).
Concordia got fourth-place finishes by Alan Garcia in the 1,600 (5:21.52), Kadryn McManus in the javelin (110-3) and Aden Plymesser in the 75 hurdles (12.69).
Carlie Carlgren won two events for the Concordia seventh grade girls. She was first in the 75 hurdles in 13.58 and in the 200 dash in 29.18 and second in the long jump (14-8 ½).
Abbigale Peterson placed second in the 400 dash (1:10.10).
Hattie Blackwood finished third in the shot put (31-5 ¾) and the discus (76-1 ¼).
Megan Barr placed third in the 3,200-meter run (15:22.60).
Concordia was third in the 4x100 relay (57.04) and fifth in the distance medley relay (2:34.31).
JoAnn Plush placed fourth in the high jump (4-0).
Acadia Waterman finished sixth in the 1,600 (7:05.03).
The Concordia eighth grade girls had Jaida Koch place second in the 100 dash (13.73) and the 200 dash (28.68).
Cianna DeLeon finished second in the discus (80-5 ¼).
Jaida Koester placed second in the 800 (2:49.26).
Concordia got second-place finishes in the 4x100 relay (54.05) and the 4x200 (1:158.51).
Belle Chavey finished third in the 75 hurdles (13.46) and sixth in the triple jump (29-10).
Cami Anderson placed sixth in the pole vault (5-6).
The Concordia seventh grade boys got third-place finishes by Colsen Swanson in 1,600 (5:54.07), Cody Trost in the 75 hurdles (13.52), Joey Henderson in the high jump (4-8) and the 4x200 relay team (1:59.77).
Lewis VanMeter placed fourth in the 1,600 (5:55.32).
Peyton Breese finished fifth in the javelin (92-6 ½).
Concordia was fifth in the 4x400 relay (4:48.71).
