CJHS wrestlers capture league title

Heavyweight Reese Dorman pinned his opponent in the championship match to give the Concordia Junior High School the North Central Kansas League tournament championship.
Concordia was trailing Clay Center by half a point going into the final matches of the day.
Dorman, who was down 5-0 in the title match, got a reversal and a pin that gave the Panthers 221 points. That was half a point more than Clay Center, which finished second with 220.5 points.
Marysville was third in the tournament with 193 points.
Dorman was one of five Concordia wrestlers that placed first in the tournament.
The other individual champions were Christian Belden, Keigan Workman, Drew Sterrett and Tracer Murdock.
Panthers placing second include Carter Eakin, Easton Swihart and Dustin Sterrett.
Justus Trost finished third.
Fourth-place finishers include Carter Pickel, Trenton McMillan, Mason Eickman, Caleb Hanson and Kyle McFadden.
