CJHS wrestlers defeat Marysville in dual

MARYSVILLE — Winning its first seven matches to get out to a 37-0 lead, the Concordia Junior High School wrestling team defeated Marysville 61-43 in a North Central Kansas League dual on Thursday.
Concordia improved to 3-0 in duals this season.
Gunner Barnes, 75-pound class; Baylor Knox, 80 pounds; and Logan Jackson, 85 pounds, won by forfeit for Concordia in the first three matches of the dual.
Keigan Workman, 90 pounds, picked up a 13-4 victory for the Panthers.
Trey Collins pulled out a 6-4 win in the 95-pound class.
Rush LeDuc, 100 pounds, and Brandon Wahlmeier, 105 pounds, won by pin.
Concordia had Coleman Plymesser, 110 pounds, and Francisco Ayala, 115 pounds, lose by fall.
Drew Sterrett, 120 pounds, won by fall for the Panthers.
Grant Robinson, 127 pounds; Kaide Gropp, 134 pounds; Lennon Ninemire, 141 pounds; Dane Cleveland, 148 pounds; and Jacob Barr, 155 pounds, lost by fall.
Concordia had Cole Britt, 165 pounds, and Jadrian Riley, 180 pounds, win by fall.
Tracer Murdock was pinned in the 215-pound class.
Kyle McFadden won by fall in the 285-pound class.
The Panthers host Abilene in a dual on Tuesday.
