Concordia doubles team finish in top three in quad

Concordia's doubles teams of Elijah Steffen and Isaac Bombardier and Eric Grogan and Caden Williams recorded top three finishes in the quadrangular hosted by the Panthers on Monday.
Steffen and Bombardier placed second in number one doubles.
Grogan and Williams finished third in number two doubles.
Concordia was fourth as a team with eight points.
Marysville won the meet with 28 points. Abilene was second with 12 points. St. John's Military Academy also scored 12 points, and finished third.
Steffen and Bombardier downed Abilene's number one team 8-5. They knocked off St. John's 8-2 before falling 8-4 to Marysville.
Grogan and Williams fell in the opening round to Abilene, 8-5. They defeated St. John's 8-3 and then lost 8-6 to Marysville.
Keegan Grogan, playing number one singles for Concordia, fell 8-7 to Kolten Coup, Abilene; 8-6 to Kevin Kerman, St. John's; and 8-2 to Dalton Denner, Marysville.
In number two singles play, Taryn Roush was beaten 8-5 by Nick Holmes, Abilene; 8-2 by Cameron Wolf, St. John's; and 8-1 by Garrett Drey, Marysville.
