Cowboys beat Panthers

SALINA — The Concordia Panthers suffered a 31-13 loss to the Salina Cowboys in the final game of the sixth grade Youth Football regular season on Saturday.
Salina took a 13-0 lead in the game.
Carter Eakins returned a kickoff for a touchdown in the second quarter as Concordia cut the deficit to 13-7.
A pair of touchdown passes gave the Cowboys a 25-7 halftime lead.
Salina scored again early in the second half to extend the lead to 31-7.
Teron Kraft scored on a 36-yard run for Concordia to make the final score 31-13.
Kraft led the Panthers with 66 yards rushing on five carries.
Jadrian Riley had six tackles for Concordia. Eakins and Kaide Gropp had five tackles each.
The Panthers (4-2) will play the Ottawa County Falcons Saturday in the third-place game in Salina.
