Eighth grade beats Chapman

Allowing just two points in the final quarter, the Concordia eighth grade girls' basketball team defeated Chapman 34-31 in a home game on Tuesday.
Concordia trailed 29-28 after three quarters of play.
The Panthers tossed in six points in the final period, and limited Chapman to two points to rally for the win.
Carlie Carlgren led Concordia with 13 points.
Callie Parker and Madison Meyer scored seven points each.
Concordia led the game 13-11 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers outscored Chapman 13-11 in the second stanza to go up 26-22 at halftime.
Chapman tossed in seven points in the third quarter, and gave up just two points, and led 29-28.
The Concordia B-team suffered a 17-12 loss to Chapman.
Concordia had a 9-7 lead at halftime.
The Panthers were outscored 10-3 in the second half.
Parker and Meyer scored four points each for Concordia.
