F&A Food Sales advances to state title game

LUCAS — Posting a pair of shutouts, Concordia F&A Food Sales advanced to the championship game of the 68th Annual K-18 Baseball State Tournament.
F&A Food Sales will play Ellis in the title game on Wednesday night.
Ellis slipped past Goodland 8-7 in the semifinals on Sunday.
F&A Food Sales blanked Republic County 12-0 in three innings in the other semifinal game.
Goodland will face Republic County in the third-place game at 5 p.m. Wednesday with the championship game to follow.
F&A Food Sales shut out WaKeeney 8-0 in eight innings in the opening round of the tournament on Saturday.
Goodland thumped Clifton-Clyde 15-2 in four innings, Ellis clipped Beloit Red 9-7 and Republic County edged Norton, 9-7.
