F&A Food Sales shuts out Hanover

HANOVER — F&A Food Sales shut out Hanover 10-0 in K-18 Baseball NCK League play on Friday night.
Stryker Hake tripled and scored and Keyan Miller walked and scored in the top of the first inning to give F&A Food Sales a 2-0 lead.
F&A Food Sales extended the lead to 6-0 with four runs in the second inning.
Hake singled and scored in the inning. Miller doubled and scored. Dalton Owen and Nathan Brown each walked and scored.
Kale Pearson doubled and scored in the second inning to give F&A Food Sales a 7-0 cushion.
F&A Food Sales made it 10-0 with three runs in the fourth inning.
Owen and Shelby Giersch each singled and scored. Brown walked and scored.
The game ended after four innings because of the 10-run rule.
Miller did not give up a hit in four innings for F&A Food Sales. He struck out 10 and walked five.
Hake had two hits and scored two runs for F&A Food Sales.
Brown, Giersch, Pearson and Alec Francis had two hits each.
F&A Food Sales suffered an 8-7 loss to Hanover in the three-inning non-league game.
Hanover led the game 6-2 after one inning of play.
F&A Food Sales scored three runs in the top of the second inning to close the gap to 6-5.
Two runs in the top of the third inning gave F&A Food Sales a 7-6 advantage.
Hanover scored two runs in the bottom of the third to pull out the 8-7 victory.
