F&A Food Sales tops Clifton-Clyde

Aidan Poore hit a grand slam and Keyan Miller tossed a one-hitter as F&A Food Sales defeated Clifton-Clyde 9-1 in K-18 Baseball NCK League play Friday night the Concordia Sports Complex.
F&A Food Sales grabbed a 5-0 lead in the first inning.
Alec Francis walked and scored in the inning.
F&A Food Sales loaded the bases and Poore delivered the grand slam to make it 5-0.
A run in the third inning gave F&A Food sales a 6-0 advantage.
Clifton-Clyde scored its only run in the top of the fifth inning.
F&A Food Sales answered with a run in the bottom of the inning.
Tacking on two runs in the sixth inning, F&A Food Sales made it 9-1.
Miller gave up just a single in the fifth inning. He struck out 10 and walked five.
Poore had two hits for F&A Food Sales.
F&A Food Sales downed Clifton-Clyde 6-3 in the three-inning non-league game.
