F&A sweeps twinbill from CNB

In a matchup of two Concordia teams, F&A Food Sales swept a K-18 Baseball NCK League doubleheader from Citizens National Bank Tuesday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
F&A Food Sales slipped past Citizens National Bank 5-3 in the first game of the twinbill, and then rolled to a 14-4 victory in the second game.
Two runs in the bottom of the first inning put F&A Food Sales on top to stay in game one.
Keyan Miller walked with one out and scored on a single by Nathan Brown.
A base hit by Shelby Giersch got Brown home.
F&A Food Sales made it 3-0 with a run in the second inning.
Kale Pearson was hit by a pitch, Logan Leiszler singled and Stryker Hake was hit by a pitch.
Miller drew a bases loaded walk to force home a run.
Scoring two runs in the fourth inning, F&A Food Sales led 5-0.
Leizler led off with a single. He stole second and third and scored on an error.
Miller reached base on an error. He stole second, third and home.
Citizens National Bank picked up its first run in the top of the fifth inning.
Braeden Primeaux walked and scored on a single by Payton Breese.
Easton Atwood walked, stole second and third and scored on a passed ball in the sixth inning, and Citizens National Bank trailed 5-2.
Citizens National Bank made it a 5-3 game with a run in the seventh inning.
Caleb Hanson singled, moved to second on balk and scored on a base hit by Cav Carlgren.
Giersch and Brown did the pitching for F&A Food Sales.
Carlgren and Joey Henderson pitched for Citizens National Bank.
Leiszler had two hits for F&A Food Sales.
Breese had two hits for Citizens National Bank.
Brown and Miller combined on a one-hit shutout as F&A Foods Sales completed the sweep with the win in game two.

Tacking on four runs in the fourth inning, F&A Food Sales led 14-0.

Owen walked and moved to third on a double by Brown. He scored on a passed ball.
