Funk Pharmacy rallies past Co-op

Scoring six runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, Funk Pharmacy rallied for a 10-6 victory over Cloud County Co-op in Girls' Softball play Thursday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
Funk Pharmacy trailed 5-4 heading into the bottom half of the fourth.
Taking advantage of five walks, Funk Pharmacy pushed across six runs to go up 10-5.
Cloud County Co-op added one run in the top of the fifth inning.
Madison Starr did the pitching for Funk Pharmacy.
Kaitlyn Nelson pitched for Cloud County Co-op.
Baylen Arnold reached base four times and scored three runs for Funk Pharmacy.
Cloud County Co-op got out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
Two runs in the bottom of the first left Funk Pharmacy trailing 4-2.
Funk Pharmacy tied the game at 4-4 with two runs in the second inning.
Cloud County Co-op reclaimed the lead at 5-4 with a run in the third inning.
In the other game played Thursday night, the American Legion knocked off Subway, 12-8.
Subway put up three runs in the top of the first inning.
The American Legion answered with six runs in the bottom of the first.
Scoring two runs in the top of the third inning, Subway closed the gap to 6-5.
The American Legion added four runs in the bottom of the third to extend the lead to 10-5.
Subway scored three runs in the top of the fourth inning.
The American Legion tacked on two runs in the bottom of the inning.
Nevaeh Valcoure did the pitching for the American Legion.
Moyra Barnes, Abbigale Peterson and Kynlee Hamiel scored two runs each for the American Legion.
