Lions, Chevy’s post lopsided victories

The Concordia Lions and the Chevy's posted lopsided wins in Peewee Baseball action Wednesday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
Erupting for 10 runs in the second inning, the Lions blanked the Knights of Columbus 17-0 in three innings.
The Chevy's pounded out a 16-1 victory over the American Legion in three innings.
The Lions got out to a 4-0 lead on the Knights of Columbus in the top of the first inning.
Sending 13 batters to the plate, the Chevy's put up 10 runs on six walks, a hit and three errors in the second inning to make it 14-0.
The Lions added three runs in the third inning.
The Knights of Columbus were shut out on one hit.
Drake Blochlinger and Logan Jackson scored three runs each for the Lions.
Falling behind 1-0 in the top of the first inning, the Chevy's pushed across six runs in the bottom of the inning against American Legion.
The Chevy's then scored 10 runs on five hits and seven walks in the bottom of the second inning.
Baylor Knox was the winning pitcher for the Chevy's. He also had three hits and scored three runs.
Drew Sterrett scored three runs.
Boone Richard and Carter Eakins had two hits and scored two runs each.
