Local wrestlers place in tournaments

SALINA — Led by individual champion Drake Blochlinger, the Concordia Kids Wrestling Club had seven wrestlers place in the top six at the Tournament of Champions Saturday at the Tony's Pizza Event Center.
Blochlinger placed first in the 95-pound class in the 10-and-under division.
Kaleb Keiswetter, 55 pounds, 10-and-under, placed second.
Daniel Vines, 115 pounds, 14-and-under, finished third.
Kale Schroeder, 79 pounds, 10-and-under, placed fourth.
Christian Belden finished fifth in the 75-pound class in the 14-and-under division.
Landen Belden, 46 pounds, 8-and-under, and Warric Eakins, 64 pounds, 10-and-under, placed sixth.
The Concordia club had 19 wrestlers place in the top five at the Ottawa County Novice tournament on Saturday.
Kam Kingsbury, 46 pounds, 6-and-under, and Connor Novak, 76 pounds, 12-and-under, place first.
Second-place finishers include:
Kyler Annon, 49 pounds, 8-and-under; Trenton Nutsch, 58 pounds, 8-and-under; Brady Labarge, 67 pounds, 8-and-under; Camleigh Hake, 76 pounds, 8-and-under, and Tre Hamiel, 110 pounds, 10-and-under.
Placing third were Liam Reed, 52 pounds, 8-and-under; Imogen Demanett, 58 pounds, 8-and-under; and Eli Henderson, 67 pounds, 10-and-under.
Fourth-place finishers include:
Bart Jackson, 46 pounds, 6-and-under; Nash Brooks, 55 pounds, 6-and-under; Teagan Levelle, 55 pounds, 6-and-under; Tymber Workman, 67 pounds, 6-and-under; Remy Johnson, 52 pounds, 8-and-under; and Traxlur Kindel, 79 pounds, 10-and-under.
Asher Alexander, 43 pounds, 6-and-under; Wyatt Levelle; and Isabelle Alexander, 79 pounds, 10-and-under, place fifth.
