Oliveira scores two goals to lead T-Birds past Pratt

Sophomore Djougher Oliveira scored two goals as the Cloud County Community College men's soccer team shut out Pratt Community College 4-0 Saturday afternoon at Harold M. Clark Stadium.
Cloud County, completing the regular season sweep of Pratt, is now 8-4-1 overall and 5-2-1 in the Jayhawk Conference West Division.
The Thunderbirds are trailing Barton Community College (6-0) in the conference standings. They have two conference games remaining, including one at home against Barton.
Oliveira struck quickly for Cloud County when he took a cross from Lucas Lyra and scored just 3:10 into the match.
Lyra scored his second goal of the season off an assist from Felipe D'Agostini in the 42nd minute to give the T-Birds a 2-0 lead on the Beavers.
Oliveira knocked in his second goal 11 minutes into the second half to extend the lead to 3-0. Jelldrik Dallmann got the assist.
D'Agostini capped off the scoring for Cloud County with 27 minutes remaining in the match.
The T-Birds had 22 shots in the match to 11 for the Beavers.
Noberto Vieira had four saves in 71 minutes for Cloud County.
Igor Silva was in goal for the final 19 minutes, and had one save to preserve the third consecutive shutout for the T-Birds.
Cloud County plays a conference match at Garden City on Wednesday.
A win would secure a home match for the T-Birds in the first round of the Region VI playoffs.
