Panthers beat Buffs

Three players combined for 28 points to lead the Concordia junior varsity boys' basketball team to a 37-33 home win over Republic County on Tuesday night.
Cav Carlgren paced Concordia with 14 points.
Jacob Williams and Nick Vignery scored seven points each for the Panthers.
Concordia was shut out in the first quarter, and Republic County scored 12 points.
The Panthers outscored the Buffaloes 11-4 in the second period to close the gap to 16-11.
Concordia held Republic County scoreless in the third quarter, and scored 10 points to take a 21-16 advantage.
The Buffaloes tossed in 17 points in the final stanza, and the Panthers scored 16 to pick up the win.
The Concordia C-team downed Republic County 30-8 in two quarters of play.
Tyler Hobrock led Concordia with 10 points.
Carlgren and Aidan Poore scored six points each.
