Panthers beat Chapman

CHAPMAN — The Concordia eighth grade girls' basketball team downed Chapman 19-14 on Thursday.
Concordia led the game 4-2 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers limited Chapman to two points in the second period, and scored five, to go up 9-4 at halftime.
Each team scored four points in the third quarter, and Concordia led 13-8.
The two teams scored six points each in the final stanza.
Desyn Thornton and Cianna DeLeon scored four points each for the Panthers.
The Concordia B-team lost 21-8 to Chapman.
Chapman had a 7-0 lead at halftime, and outscored Concordia 14-8 in the second half.
DeLeon scored four points for Concordia, and Hanna Acree added three points.
