Panthers defeat Clay Center

Stryker Hake had a pair of touchdown runs as the Concordia eighth grade football team capped off its season with a 16-0 victory over Clay Center Tuesday at Harold M. Clark Stadium.
Hake scored on a 22-yard run in the first quarter, and ran in the two-point conversion to give Concordia an 8-0 advantage.
The Panthers extended the lead in the third period when Hake scored on a 48-yard run.
Alec Francis ran in the conversion to make it 16-0.
Hake finished with 113 yards rushing.
Francis had 55 yards on the ground for Concordia.
“It was a good season. We improved a great deal as the season progressed,” Concordia coach David Gieber said.
