Panthers defeat Riley County

Concordia used a big fourth quarter to pick up a 45-37 home win over Riley County in eighth grade boys' basketball play Thursday night.
The Panthers trailed Riley County 29-27 heading into the final period.
Concordia poured in 18 points, and limited Riley County to eight points, to capture the victory.
Aceyn Cash led the way for Concordia with 14 points.
Alec Francis scored 12 points for the Panthers, and Stryker Hake added eight points.
Concordia trailed 15-14 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers scored nine points in the second period, to eight for Riley County, and the game was tied at 23-23.
Riley County gave up just four points in the third quarter, and scored six, to go up 29-27.
The Concordia B-team was beaten 40-22 by Riley County.
Riley County was up 18-11 at halftime, and outscored the Panthers 22-11 in the second half.
Dakota Brockman scored six points for Concordia.
