Panthers defeat Sacred Heart, 22-7

SALINA — Outscoring Sacred Heart 22-7 in the second half, the Concordia seventh grade girls' basketball team posted a 34-25 victory on Tuesday.
Concordia trailed 18-12 at halftime.
The Panthers shut out Sacred Heart in the third quarter, and poured in 18 points to take a 30-18 lead.
Sacred Heart added seven points in the final period to four for Concordia.
Charlize Cash led the way for Concordia with 25 points. Ryle Jessup added six points.
Concordia jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the first quarter.
The Panthers were limited to two points in the second stanza, and Sacred Heart tossed in 16 to go up 18-12 at halftime.
