Panthers defeat Wamego in league dual

Wrestling at home for the first time this season, the Concordia Panthers defeated Wamego 45-24 in a North Central Kansas League dual Thursday night in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.
Concordia improved 2-0 in league duals with the win.
The Panthers won the first four matches of the dual, three by fall.
Sajen Kemling pinned Wamego's Treyton Hartwich in the 106-pound class.
Jordan Anguish, 113 pounds, pinned Hagan Johnson.
Koby Tyler won a decision over Tayke Weber in the 120-pound class.
Daniel Vines, 126 pounds, pinned Nick Cruickshank.
The Panthers then lost five consecutive matches.
Toby Wahlmeier, 132 pounds, lost by fall to Drew Brown.
Cade Anderson was pinned by Adler Pierson in the 138-pound class.
Concordia was open at 145 pounds.
Nathan Brown lost by decision to Dacotah Lee in the 152-pound class.
Layton Kindel, 160 pounds, lost by decision to Hayden Oviatt.
The Panthers picked up wins in the final five matches to secure the victory in the dual.
Keyan Miller won by decision over Ryan Erickson in the 170-pound class.
Hunter Schroeder, 182 pounds, pinned Hunter Philimore.
Robert Trost won by default over Braydon King in the 195-pound class.
Shelby Giersch, 220 pounds, won by decision over Ethan Holle.
Dalton Owen, 285 pounds, received a forfeit.
In junior varsity matches, Concordia's Austin Wilson pinned Blake Hamic.
Torxsten Kindel lost by fall to Wamego's Blayden Schuck.
Bergun Kindel was pinned by Kyler Socken.
Braxton Kindel lost by fall to Austin Meyer.
Clayton Walker was pinned by Grant Larson and Michael Ashland was pinned by Cade Elswick.
The Panthers will travel to Belleville for a dual with Republic County on Thursday.
