Panthers down Chapman, 43-28

CHAPMAN — Three players scored in double figures to lead the Concordia seventh grade boys' basketball team to a 43-28 victory over Chapman in the first round of the North Central Kansas League tournament on Monday.
Luke Donovan paced the Panthers with 18 points. Karson Lister and Peyton Retter scored 10 points each.
Concordia will play in the semifinals on Thursday.
The Panthers shut out Chapman in the first quarter, and led 9-0.
Concordia doubled up Chapman 8-4 in the second stanza to go up 17-4.
Chapman outscored the Panthers 11-8 in the third period to make it a 25-15 game.
Concordia poured in 18 points in the final stanza, to 13 for Chapman.
