Panthers drop Falcons

RILEY — Three players scored in double figures to lead the Concordia junior varsity boys' basketball team to a 61-60 win over Riley County on Tuesday.
Cav Carlgren paced the Panthers with 19 points.
Easton Atwood scored 16 points and Jacob Rosenbaum added 13.
Concordia jumped out to a 18-10 lead in the first quarter.
The Panthers pumped in 19 points in the second period, to 16 for Riley County, and led 37-26 at halftime.
Riley County outscored Concordia 16-15 in the third quarter to make it a 52-42 game.
The Falcons would double up the Panthers, 18-9, in the final period, but came up a point short.
The Concordia C-team was beaten 68-39 by Riley County.
Riley County led 32-17 at halftime.
The Falcons outscored the Panthers 36-22 in the second half.
Tucker Arnold scored 20 points for Concordia.
