Panthers knock off Fort Riley, 46-22

Scoring 30 points in the second half, the Concordia Junior High School football team pulled away to a 46-22 victory over Fort Riley Thursday night at Harold M. Clark Stadium.
Dane Cleveland scored for Concordia on a three-yard run in the first quarter.
Cleveland ran in the two-point conversion to make it 8-0.
The Panthers extended the lead on a five-yard touchdown run by Cleveland in the second period.
Kaide Gropp threw to Andrew Henderson for the two-point conversion and it was a 16-0 game.
Concordia scored first in the third quarter on a seven-yard run by Drew Sterrett.
Fort Riley made it 20-6 with a two-yard scoring run.
Sterrett scored again in the period on a 20-yard run. Cleveland ran in the conversion, and the Panthers were up 30-6.
Fort Riley closed the gap to 30-22 with two touchdowns and two two-point conversions in the final stanza.
Carter Eakins scored twice for Concordia on runs of one and six yards.
Gropp threw to Chane Parker for a two-point conversion, and Eakins ran in the other to give the Panthers the 46-22 cushion.
Sterrett racked up 220 yards rushing on 18 carries.
Baylor Knox carried five times for 117 yards.
