Seventh grade boys win
Pouring in 22 points in the fourth quarter, the Concordia seventh grade boys' basketball rallied for a 37-31 win over Eisenhower Middle School (Manhattan) in a home game on Thursday.
Concordia trailed 21-15 after three quarters of play.
Led by Joey Henderson, the Panthers outscored Eisenhower 22-10 in the final period to to pick up the win.
Henderson scored 13 of his team high 16 points in the fourth quarter.
Concordia trailed 10-6 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers limited Eisenhower to four points in the second stanza, and scored seven to make it 14-13 at halftime.
Concordia managed just two points in the third quarter, and Eisenhower scored seven to go up 21-15.
Payton Breese scored nine points for Concordia.
The Concordia B-team was beaten 28-10 by Eisenhower.
Maddox Frey scored three points for Concordia.
