Seventh grade girls defeat Abilene, 24-17

ABILENE — Limited to six points in the second half, the Concordia seventh grade girls' basketball team fell 24-17 to Abilene.
Concordia was down 8-2 after one quarter of play.
The Panthers tossed in nine points in the second stanza, to seven for Abilene, to make it a 15-11 game at halftime.
Concordia went scoreless in the third quarter, and Abilene scored four points to push the lead to 19-11.
The Panthers scored six points in the final period to five for Abilene.
Madison Meyer led Concordia with nine points. Carlie Carlgren scored eight points.
The Concordia B-team knocked off Abilene, 17-6.
Concordia had a 7-2 lead at halftime.
The Panthers outscored Abilene 10-4 in the second half.
Concordia had eight players score in the game led by Joann Plush with four points.
