Seventh grade girls tumble to Chapman

CHAPMAN — The Concordia seventh grade girls' basketball team had its season come to an end with a 22-18 loss to Chapman in the first round of the North Central Kansas League Tournament on Monday.
The game was tied at 15-15 through three quarters of play.
Concordia was limited to one field goal and one free throw in the fourth quarter, and Chapman scored seven points to pull out the win.
Carlie Carlgren scored seven points for Concordia. Hattie Blackwood added five points.
The game was knotted at 7-7 through one quarter of play.
Chapman outscored the Panthers 6-4 in the second stanza, and led 13-11 at halftime.
Concordia gave up just two points in the third quarter, and scored four, to pull even at 15-15.
Chapman pulled out the win in the final period.
