T-Birds shut out Pratt, 7-0

The 14th-ranked Cloud County Community College women's soccer team wrapped up a three-game home stand with a 7-0 win over Pratt Community College on Wednesday.
Cloud County moves to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in Jayhawk Conference West Division play with the win.
The T-Birds scored two goals in the first 5:10 of the match.
Abigail Conway got the scoring barrage started with a goal just 3:10 in, off an assist from Franciele Cupertino.
Less than a minute and a half later, Cupertino scored an unassisted goal to put Cloud County on top 2-0.
The T-Birds would tack on three more goals in the first half to take a commanding 5-0 advantage.
Fernanda Peinado found the back of the net in the 34th minute. Aroa Nieto picked up the assist.
Peinado scored again in the 40th minute with Chiara Perrone getting credit for the assist.
A goal by Ingrid Castro, off an assist by Peinado, made it 5-0.
Cupertino scored her second goal of the match in the 64th minute to give Cloud County a 6-0 cushion. Perrone got the assist.
Perrone would assist on a goal by Thaina Cavalcante in the 72nd minute to cap off the scoring for theT-Birds.
Cloud County finished with 24 shots in the match, 18 on goal.
Pratt had just two shots, both on goal.
Alanya Hannigan was in goal for the T-Birds, and had two saves.
Cloud County hits the road for a conference match at Garden City Community College on Saturday.
