Two wrestlers place in Elementary State

SALINA — The Concordia Kids Wrestling Club had two wrestlers place second in the Kansas USA Wrestling Elementary State and 6-and-under State Championships Sunday at the Tony's Pizza Event Center.
Kaleb Keiswetter placed second in the 60-pound class. He won five straight matches before falling 5-1 to James Bilby, South Plains Punisher Wrestling, in the championship match.
Drake Blochlinger finished second in the 100-pound class. He posted three straight wins, and then suffered a 2-1 loss to Jaxsen Salinas, Ulysses.
Two members of the Concordia club placed second in the War of Roses Kansas Girls Open in McPherson on Sunday.
Tymber Workman was second in the Elementary K-2 73-79-pound class. She won her first two matches and then lost by fall to Carleigh Clark, Lady Outlaws, in the finals.
Lydia Dong, Middle School 6-8 118-129-pound class finished second. She recorded four straight wins before losing by fall to Brenn Hilton, Eureka Wrestling Club, in the title match.
